Client received 1099S showing proceeds but 13986.00 was withheld from escrow from his disbursement on settlement. The 1099S does not show that but it was withheld. Do I enter the amount of 13986.00 on tax payments or where should I enter this amount since it was paid to the state of Ca. for this sale
