    Traditional IRA contribution

    Husband and wife note covered by a retirement plan. Both 69. Have IRA contributions of $7,000 each. The return is showing these contributions as nondeductible. AGI is $302,000 - I did not think the IRA would be limited if not covered by a plan

    Check the W2 worksheets and see if you checked the box for retirement plan...
