When e-filing a self prepared tax return, Proseries will not convert return for transmission. The error message was "ERO PIN required". The Tools> Option > Firm/Preparer has the ERO PIN. How to fix it to transmit return?
There have been a lot of problems this year with self-prepared and non-paid preparer returns. The easiest 'work around' is to not say it was NOT self-prepared or non-paid preparer.
