You shouldn't need to "attach" a W2 to an electronically filed state return.

Maybe you could explain your situation further and include what version of ProSeries you're using so someone can assist you better..

some states require W2s, and other items be attached for certain credits. Open your state return, click on e-file on menu bar, then click on attach PDF. follow directions
