I filed a return for a client in March and set the payment date for July 15. The client just did a Refi and the mortgage company insisted that she pay the tax bill before closing. She paid online on the IRS website. I am afraid they will auto withdraw the payment again on July 15. It is a few thousand dollars.
Is there someway to insure that the IRS does not take the payment again?
Thanks for your help, oh wise ones.
