SECURLY sending returns in Proseries Basic

How can I securely send a completed return to a client ?

I'm using Proseries Basic.

Can I use Link ?

You can use WinZip or similar programs to encrypt the PDF and put a password on it.  However, it requires your client to also have WinZip. They could download the trial version in order to open the file.

 

You can also use Adobe Acrobat Pro to put passwords on PDFs, but I do not know that the password protection is strong enough to keep out prying eyes.

FYI - Acrobat Pro claims to use 256 bit AES encryption, as does WinZip and even some Microsoft products like Word and Excel.

Print it and send Priority Mail. Old school but it works for me.
