Sure would make my life a whole lot easier if I had a way of looking up the stimulus payments online...

Using the IRS e-services to see how much my clients received for the economic stimulus payments is not a practical way of looking up their exact ($$) payment information. I need a POA from each client in order to do so, and that ain't gonna happen.

We can't use the usual "Same as last year" answer from the client either. It is going to be a FUN year.

Back in 2008 or 2009 (whenever we had that last stimulus) they had an online look-up tool that we could use....Im hoping they do something similar for this!

Telephone tax credit to fund the Spanish American War that started in 1898. I sure remember those $40 refunds that totally screwed up tax filing.  We could put a man on the moon in the late 1960's but can't do it now.  We could have an online lookup in 2006 but can't do it now.  Why are we regressing in technology? DOS and Windows 3.1 worked fine for me.  Even Windows 95. Stuff never broke.
