Recovery credit -- not recognizing that a dependent was 17 by end of year

Has anyone had the recovery credit try to give someone money for a dependent that turned 17 during the year?  It was fine, and then I needed to eliminate a dependent, and now it is giving them credit for a child who is supposedly under 17, but that child does not exist.  There was never a child under 17.

How did you delete the dependent?  If it just erased each data field one at a time, that causes a program glitch.  You need to right-click the dependent and delete the "line".

So do that for the current dependent, then again for the top blank dependent space.  Then re-enter the dependent again.

I did delete the line (through EDIT, delete line), and said yes to delete anything attached to said dependent.
