Is NY Form IT-216 calculating properly? It is giving me an error for not marking a child disabled.

if child is not under 13 must be disabled to be eligible for credit. Same with federal but doesn’t give you an error.

If at first you don’t succeed…..find a workaround

I'm having the same issue.  They have two dependents, aged 4 and 14.  I entered the dependent care expenses for the 4 yo however on the IT-216 it keeps listing both of them and wants me to mark the 14yo disabled.  I am not trying to take any credit for her and I can't delete her name off the form.  How do I do that?

I have the same issue, I removed the dependent care amount for the 14 year old kid on the federal worksheet since it made no difference on their federal tax.
