How do I enter a New Jersey retirement income from a 401k pension of 62,000 so that it qualifies for a New Jersey exclusion?

In 1099-R line that says State use code right click and go into Help.  From there go into Click here for information.... Scroll down to NJ for codes to enter.

Enter the 1099R. Add NJ as the state. There are no codes needed. Go to NJ return. Is TP over 59 1/2?

Is total NJ gross income over 100k? Then there is no exclusion.
