Just like dropping it in a public mailbox, you cant get it back unless the post office returns it to you for some reason.

Nope.  I can take off the nuts and bolts holding that mailbox down and shake it until I get my mail back.  There ain't no nuts and bolts to remove to get that e-file back.  Funny Inuit doesn't tell folks that once its gone its gone.  Now folks just think it's only kinda gone and all they need to know is the secret handshake to get it back.

As a side note, I can start retrieving e-file acknowledgements at 12:01 am on February 12th, right?
