Pro Series Software unable to calculate Coronavirus distribution

When checking the 2020 Coronavirus-related distribution on the 1099R worksheet, the software errors and says to update ProSeries (the reason). I have updated Proseries and it still is there.

When will this be fixed.

Please look at the 2,500 posts about this topic already.  ProSeries hopes 02/18/21 but the IRS has not finalized their end so it may be later.

You would think if there were 2,500 posts already, it would have popped up in the search when I made the post. I actually tried to do this instead of calling and thank you for the information.

Hi Jeffrey, go to Form 5329. Scroll down a little bit. Enter the amount of the distribution on Line L. You will see the software will input code 12 on Line 2. And it should waive the 10% penalty. I already used it and it works. Thank you.
