Well that's what I thought too, but ProSeries got #3,526 EIC.

 

MFJ.

One child.

Joint earnings were $22,809.

AHHHHHHHHHH.  I was looking at single.  Her husband died this year and I thought of her as single, but we had that last year to file MFJ.

 

Thanks for not mocking me.

Are you really asking what amount is considered in computing the earned income credit?

Earned income is based on what you earned, from working.

Or from being married (which, can be work...) - alimony used to be considered earned income.  I'm not sure if it still is since TCJA
