Need updates for 2018 proseries so can E file

Since December. I am trying to E file a Federal form 1040.  The current failure message, is program needs updates.  I keep trying to update and no updates are available.

Will we ever be ab le to file Form 1040 for 2018?

I think only returns without the tax extenders can be Efiled for 2018.  Returns with extenders are still in a holding pattern until later this month.
