Major Problems with program

My proseries is being a pain! I cannot get any update to take, and yes, I have tried every which way to do it.  I have uninstalled the program and now I am trying to reinstall from my dashboard online but keep getting an error message so now I don't even have the program!! I reinstalled from the original disk but that needs updates to work! HELP!

You say "every which way" Does that mean you also tried Repair up dates from windows start menu ? Now that you have reinstalled program from disk, you should go to select and download new products. Hope that does it for you.
