Retirement income 1099-R exemption calculating incorrectly on Louisiana return.

VERIFIED BUG BY PROSERIES SUPPORT: When entering certain 1099-R income, as normal, all the state fields (box 14-16) are blank due to the exemption of retirement disbursements from taxes for state and federal government agencies, police, etc. In previous years, if you entered the "State use code" in the 1099-R worksheet, the state return took the taxable amount from box 2a and correctly placed it in the Sch E on line 4a. This year, Sch E line 4a shows ZERO, and adds the default "Annual ret inc exmpt 65 plus" deduction of $6000 on line 4b instead. Of course, the totals are now all wrong. (Already updated to released and "Efile Ready" release Jan 26.)

WORKAROUND: Go to the 1099 R and add the taxable amount from box 2a in box 16, and the Louisiana numbers are now correct.

Hope this is helpful.
