Looks like the Get My Payment IRS portal to input banking information is up and running

I just tested it (on my own return) and YES, direct debit accounts WILL be used for direct deposit of the EIP!

Yeah, I'm already fielding calls from clients that can't read a tax return.  Woohoo!  Going to be a long few days.

They can call it a portal.

Or maybe a porthole, since many taxpayers are on a cruise to nowhere.

But we should call it a rabbit hole.

All my clients that owed taxes in 2018 and 2019 are not able to use the portal to input their bank info.  It's saying no stimulus payment information available.  Anyone else experiencing this?

from what Im seeing in other tax prep groups, many are seeing that as well.....probably take a few days for the system to catch up
