I see that it says the NC D400 wont be final and ready for filing until 2/17...you dont see any yellow bar or warning when you run through review that the form isnt final?

NC was picked as the redheaded step child award recipient this year as an acknowledgement that there always seems to be one state that is really late in getting up and running by Intuit.  It looks like you have to wait a couple of more weeks or so before you can make it fly.

I do have the alerts on the forms. I went on the NC DOR website and I saw the 2/17/2022 date. It just seems ridiculous and I thought I was reading it wrong. Thank you for the help. I guess I just have to wait to send all the NC forms on 2/17.

I thought software vendors would accept efiled returns, the hold and submit to NCDR on the 17th when the season opens?  Apparently this is not the case? So now we have to file the federal then submit NC later...  We do not need any additional steps this time of year!  One and done is much easier.

Today I asked the same question. I was told NC form will available on February 24. I hope this is not the case

I still show that Form D-400 isn't available for North Carolina. Is there a way to at least see the forms for North Carolina even though we can't e-file yet? I know other tax softwares at least have the NC forms available.
