I'm working on a 1040NR. On what form do I input the federal tax withheld from form 1042-S ?

When I do that, the withholding appears on line 25c, instead of line 25g for Form 1042-S.

Yep - sorry - open 1040NR Worksheet - direct enter 1042-S withholding on Line 25g on the worksheet.75

Ignore that "75" after the period.  Working and answering at the same time and didn't toggle over.

Thank you so much for your response re the 1040NR worksheet.  That did the trick.  Thanks again.

No problem - apologies for the initial misdirection.

It is far better as the form calculates if you enter any withholding into 1040-NR Worksheet where there is an input for 1042-S withholding.
