I have not found a way to stop the "error" for the filing date on a 1040 for a Texas resident using the Disaster Declaration extended date of 6/15/21. Any help would be fantastic

Are you saying you are trying to file the tax return now, but have it set up for an automatic payment after April 15th?

If that is not what you are referring to, can you clarify what "error" you are referring to?

That is correct. The date to pay is 6/15/21

As you have found out, ProSeries has not updated the software for that, probably because the Federal worksheet doesn't look at what State the taxpayer lives in, so they can't program it for ONLY people who live in Texas.

If the taxpayer wants to pay after April 15th, I think that they will need to make the payment themselves (IRS Direct Pay is the easiest method).
