How to enter auto depreciation car and truck wksht vs asset entry wksht flow to sch c want special depr limit 18k 1st, 16k 2nd, 9600 3rd do I need to elect spec depr 1,2

is it better to use car and truck wksht or directly enter on asset wksht. car and truck wksht does not generate asset life history, asset wrksht no option to classify as car or truck when choosing asset code, also wondering if any special depr boxes need to be checked in years 2,3etc to get the full 16k and 9600 for those yrs

Yes, you don't get asset history on auto worksheet, but auto belongs on auto worksheet.
