How do I handle a 1031 exchange when my client gave up one residential rental for 2 different units. Can I put both of them on one form 8824?

Is the other topic the same issue for the same condition:

Or are you working on different exchanges?

No, I am working on the same exchange..one property given up, 2 properties received and my client wrote a check for 30,000.

I still have not had a reply to my question.  Can I put two properties received for one given up on my 1031 exchange?  Also where do I put the amount my client wrote a check for in the computation?
