How can i import txf files into ProSeries. Do i need an app?

I did a quick google sarch for     import txf files proseries     and found a few hits, one had a video...they all looked pretty old though, have you searched at all but the instructions out there don't work?

I did this a couple times a long time ago (pre-8949) and it worked okay.  Post-8949, the txf format was not updated to include all of the relevant info.  So after I imported it, I still had to go line by line through the imported data and indicate which 8949 "box" was checked (covered, scattered, smothered, etc.)

If you don't have wash sales, I just enter the totals directly on Sch D.  If you do have wash sales, most people just enter summary numbers on the 8949s and put a "see attached" PDF of the broker statements (assuming you have basis reported for everything).
