Ny/pa return client only made about $2000 in NY moved into NY from PA in November. what am I doing wrong? It says she owes $1600 for ny taxes

Either New York adopted that new 70% tax idea that was mentioned in Washington the other day, or you need to tweak your income allocations for New York. Take a gander at your allocation worksheets to make sure you are only reporting $2000 as New York income.
