I want to efile a 2019 Form 1040 when the original was E-filed by someone else who also uses ProSeries.
Is it possible?

If you are using other tax software (such as Drake), yes, you can e-file an amended return that was originally filed by ANY software.
But if you are using ProSeries, no, Intuit is imposing an arbitrary restriction that you must have the original file.

Well....now maybe, if you had the PS Backup copy of the file from the other preparer it would contain the original Efile information and the program wouldn't know it wasn't filed by your program?
