When I try to e-file it says that my software is not up to date. I have updated 4 times and still get the same error message.  After staying  on the phone for an hour the guy cut ne off. What to do?

Did you update, then open and save the return, then attempt to e-file?

Have you tried the "Refresh Updates"?
