E-file forms are not printing with tax returns when the default print is set to "If Required" and the form is required. This happens for all types of returns. Also, I can change it to "If any data" and get it to work but I was wondering why it does not print when "if required" is chosen and it is required. This happens for Prepare copy, Filing Copy and Client Copy.

Efile forms, meaning the 8879? Are you sure you have the return marked for Efiling on the Federal Info worksheet? Do you see the 8879 in the list of Forms in use?

The federal 8879 series works fine. It's the NYS 579 all types of returns.
