Can't e-file tax return for deceased

lana b
Level 1

Court appointed representative is filing the tax return on behalf of deceased taxpayer with a refund due to the estate.

Pro-Series gave the error massage that return can't be e-filed without form 1310 present.

Fist at all, the form 1310 should not be filled out if representative is appointed by court. However, the

form 1310 had been  filled out and also signed form 1310 had been  attached to the return.

Still Pro-series do not let me to e-file the return.

I think once you mark that it as a court appointed rep, it no longer allows Efiling.
