Dear ProSeries,
Attempting to efile a 2021 CA 540 that includes a Federal Form 4684 casualty loss reporting a FEMA code for a California wildfire loss. 2021 CA 540 is being rejected with error pointing at the FEMA code. However, when I went to print the return to mail it in, I realized that in "Print Preview" the Form 4684 that ProSeries was attempting to submit was a 2020 Form 4864 (not a 2021). Is this correct? Is the CA FTB requiring use of the 2020 Form 4864 in the 2021 CA 540 form set? Or does ProSeries need an update? Thanks in advance.
