Anybody know why the client organizer for 2018 still includes pages for Form 2106 and Miscellaneous itemized deductions?

Because they still might be allowed for the state side of things.  What changed for the federal didn't necessarily change for the states.

On the old TA forum, there was a yellow "search" box.  We didn't use the *counter* over on TA, but folks were quite often (and not always gently) advised that searching the previously asked questions was advisable before posting.
