2018 login

on 6-1-22 I updated my 2018 Proseries program, since than I can't log in, I get a message "unable to load sign-in screen please try to repair updates and reopen Proseries".

i am completely computer illiterate, so I called Intuit and was told, we no longer support older program, go to the community for help. The associate sent me an e-mail with links, I don't know what to do with.

I still have 2018 tax returns to do and now I do not know what I can do!!

anybody out there that can help me?

Hi @Schneewittchen ,

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue.

Could you please try the following steps to see if it corrects the issue?

  1. Select the Windows Start menu.
  2. In the Search field, type "Repair Updates".
    • If you're refreshing updates for tax year 2018 or prior ProSeries, enter "ProSeries Refresh Updates", instead.
  3. From the results, select the Tools - Repair Updates option (or ProSeries Refresh Updates)

there was a 2021 program alert about this on June 8th (big yellow banner across the top of the screen).

Top menu Information > View Alerts

Thank you. I do read the alerts and I did read this one once I got back into my program, lol. I really thought I had done everything right.
