E-file available after 10/16/2019?

I have a fiscal year business return due 11/15/2019 and I'm wondering if it can be e-filed since we're past 10/15/2019? In the past, 10/15 was always the final day for e-files to be submitted, but I don't know if that's currently the case or not.

Yes.

And Oct 15 has never been the "deadline" for efiling.  It is the deadline for *timely* filing of the prior year individual returns.  But delinquent returns can be efiled, for the two prior years plus the current year.

The IRS does close down in late Nov thru early Jan to "retool".
