The Schedule SE (for Self Employment) should generate without any specific input to it. If you have completed a Schedule C and it generates more than $400 of profit, then the Schedule SE should generate.

https://proconnect.intuit.com/community/help-articles/help/generating-individual-schedule-c/00/5195 may help to get the Schedule C.

Being a real estate professional has 'nothing' to do with self- employment tax.

Are you reporting income on Sch C or on Sch E?

I am aware that being a real estate professional has nothing to do with self employment tax but every time I tried to search the database for an answer that is what came up. I am filing Schedule C. Thank you.

Thanks for the information I already have. My problem is not being a tax professional it is trying to manipulate a new software for the first time. This is my first time using ProConnect so do you have information on who I can contact for help. It would greatly appreciated.

We understand but this is the Tax Pro Community, as you could tell from the name of the website, which is a user-supported forum that assists only peers who are in the tax business due to various professional considerations.

Consumers are directed to consult their tax advisors or pose their questions to the TurboTax Community.

If you have questions about the use of software, you could also contact Intuit Support.  Their operating hours and contact details can be found on this webpage: https://proconnect.intuit.com/community/help-articles/help/how-to-contact-proconnect-tax-online-for-...
