Receiving a critical diagnostic error asking for the preparer's 10-digit phone number in order to efile. See the attached form.
I am using the ProConnect Online Software. The information was setup properly in the preparers information in the software and the phone number of the preparer is on the tax return form.

It should be an automatic if the preparer's information is properly entered into the software, but since we don't know what software you are getting the diagnostic with, nobody will be able to provide any additional divine guidance.

Problem Solved - The phone number in the preparer information included a leading "1" which made it longer than 10 digits. The information was edited by removing the leading"1" and saved. This removed the critical error.
