We are a UK-based corporation with base in UK, no offices in US, but business in US. We need to file 1120F. How do we enter our foreign address?

We just created an account on intuit proconnect tax. We can add a foreign address for our account but, we do not see how to create 1120F for an entity with a foreign address. If we try to add ourselves as our own "clients", there is no way to select foreign address there.

Hello albertop!

Create the client using just the Business Name

When preparing the 1120-F, you can then select the option to use a foreign address as the entities address.

To generate Form 1120-F, begin an 1120 Corporate return:
  1. Go to the Client Information screen.
  2. Scroll down to the Miscellaneous Info section.
  3. Check the box, 1120-F Filer?.
  4. Go to  Miscellaneous Information screen.
  5. Scroll down to the Foreign Corporations (1120-F Filers) section.
  6. Complete all applicable information.
  7. Go to the Foreign Taxes (1120-F) screen.
  8. Complete all applicable information.
