Can you input a Casualty loss on Form 4684? If so, does the information show on the return? It will not show up for me.

Was it a federally declared disaster? Thats the only type of casualty losses allowed since TCJA.

Thanks for the response. I realized that I needed to put the info from Form 4684, Casualty #1 on the same line on schedule D.

Casualty losses dont go on Sch D.  Theyre part of Sch A.
