Is HSA taxable under SDI (CA)?. If so, why Protax online is not calculaing? Pl clarify.

In Proconnect, HSA deduction is shown. It is rightly added in CA wage. It did not calculate SDI on HSA. FTB deducted while making refund. Pl clarify

The employer should have deducted the correct amount of SDI on the W2.

Sounds like something else happened...did SDI get included as state withholding by mistake?
