How can i import a past year tax return from a FPD file?

So I have a new client's prior year return on PDF. how can I import it in ITO, so that I can transfer the data to current year? instead of typing in. thank you

Back in the heyday of yellow pages, they had a slogan "let your fingers do the walking".  I think in your case you are going to have to "let your fingers do the typing", because you aren't going to be able to convert a pdf file to a client data file.

@Jinhong Zhang  Just as Jeff says.  The only way to convert that in PTO is to have your client or the prior accountant send you the data file, provided it is from one of the tax products listed in this article.  Even then, there are some limitations: https://proconnect.intuit.com/tax-online/data-conversion/
