E-file Transmission Failure

The error message states:
Your request was not understood by the e-filing service. - Invalid XML. cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found starting with element 'app'. One of '{senderEmail, legalName}' is expected.
Please verify that your application program is up-to-date.
Problem occurred transmitting efile data

This has happened before but Intuit hasn't provided an definite response.

Howdy,

I'm checking with support if there is a solution we can offer. I know sometimes with these XML errors, support does troubleshooting. I'm checking to see if we have a solution though first.

Got an update: This is usually caused by an issue with the preparer information. Try deleting and re-entering it in the preparers information area.

You can get there by clicking the gear in the bottom left corner that says settings, the clicking Preparer Information.

Then click Add a new preparer and enter the applicable information. Once your done, click View Actions on the original preparer and click Delete

Thanks, @IntuitAustin , but why would this happen if there has been no changes to preparer info?

Our support team is unaware of what causes the issue, but the development team is aware of the issue and looking into it.

Hello,

We are getting the same message, and have not been able to get past it. We have tried changing the phone number then changing it back to the correct one, adding a new preparer and selecting the new one as the default, deleting and re-inputing the phone number in the Firm Information, and even resubmitted our EFIN application (as per Proconnect support's request), and are still getting the same error message when trying to e-file:

"eroPhone is missing"

We have called Proconnect's support line many times but, unfortunately, have not been able to fix the problem. 

If anyone has any suggestions, much appreciated!
