Many issues can be corrected by uninstalling Intuit ProConnect ProSeries Professional Edition or Intuit ProConnect ProSeries Basic Edition.
Note: If at any time a warning appears stating that ProSeries is still in use, close the Task Scheduler in the System Tray. Look for a ProSeries icon near the time and date at the end of the Task Bar opposite the Start menu.
- Press the Windows key + E key to open the Windows File Explorer.
- Navigate to C:ProWinYY.
- Right-click on C:ProWinYY and select the Rename option.
- Add old to the end of the name so the directory now appears as C:ProWinYYold.
- Press Enter to finish the renaming process.
