How to add a primary password for DMS user rights

Follow these steps to set a primary password to protect DMS user rights:

  1. From the Tools menu, and select Options.
  2. Go to the General tab.
  3. Locate the Primary Password for the User Rights section.
  4. Click the Set Password button.
  5. Enter the new Password and type it again in Verify Password.
  6. Click OK to set the password.
  7. Click OK to close the Options window.

Follow these steps to change a primary password:

  1. From the Tools menu, select Options.
  2. Go to the General tab.
  3. Locate the Primary Password for the User Rights section.
  4. Click the Set Password button.
  5. Enter the Old Password.
  6. Enter the New Password box and type it again in the Verify Password.
  7. Click OK to set the password.
  8. Click OK to close the Options window.

Follow these steps to remove a primary password:

  1. From the Tools menu, select Options.
  2. Go to the General tab.
  3. Locate the Primary Password for the User Rights section.
  4. Click the Clear Password button.
  5. Enter the Password you want to remove.
  6. Click OK to set the password.
  7. Click OK to close the Options window.
