To Do Diagnostic Tab

It would be very helpful if there was a To Do Diagnostic Tab that addressed every input field that had data in the prior year, but did not have data yet in the current year.  This would provide the tax preparer a quick review that all areas addressed in the prior year has been addressed in the current year.  The diagnostic would go away when data is entered.  If data is not applicable in the current year, then the preparer could just check the box to clear that diagnostic.

This would be great and something I've longed for to make preparer's self review better and final review better.

I would like to generate the list of "missing info" and create an email that I can edit to send to the client.  Did Lacerte used to have this or am I thinking of Ultra Tax?

Right click on the input field and mark as missing. The in diagnostics click on missing formation. You ca print or email that list.

Yes. I think UT would generate the list of items from the py that were not input in Cy without any additional effort 'click input field as missing'..  I never used it bc we had other tools.  Now I miss it.
