Back in V2018 there was a web page one could subscribe to that would then send an e-Mail alert indicating that a new update had been released and a description of the content of the update. This disappeared in 2019.
This was very helpful in planning and scheduling updates. It offered insight into features (bugs, forms, etc.) that preparers may be waiting for (read that as sitting on returns they can not process).
As an update for us essentially kills 3-4 MAN hours of productivity, it also helps us decide if we want to pass on the update if the components are not be relevant for our base.
