The investment fees are not being picked up on the ca itemzied deductions. Is there an error in lacerte?

It does show up on the Schedule CA, line 21, page 3. 

It does NOT show up on the California Schedule A. 

This is how it is supposed to work. Weird, but true. Where else but in California.

Where have you entered this in Lacerte?

Schedule A investment expenses

I do not believe that there is an error in Lacerte. I entered it in the State Miscellaneous Deductions (Subject to 2% AGI limitations)> Investment expense [A] and it is flowing to my Sch CA, line 21, page 3 and has a statement for it.

I would see if it happens in another file.
