Schedule D line 22 box not being checked but client does have qualified dividends

Why isn't the software automatically checking that box when the taxpayer has qualified dividends? I don't think it changes the tax computation but it doesn't look right.

I can't reproduce that. Do you have a non-zero amount in Box 3a of the 1040?
