Filing date is May 17...really??

So if the filing date of the 1040's is May 17, 2021 and both IRS and Lacerte have announced this 2 WEEKS AGO, why am I STILL having to enter that day MANUALLY into Lacerte in order for it to be reflected in the letter to the clients????  This is so Mickey Mouse ridiculous!  I mean.....how difficult could it be to fix this little but HUGELY annoying problem???

How do you override the 4/15/21 due date in Lacerte?

@JudyEA For the 1040, Screen 3 > Client Letter > Due Date of return[O]

Definitely not a good idea to do an override in Lacerte. In this case just be a bit patient and there will be an update before May 17.
