I get a diagnostic that tells me I need a ten digit phone number in the Payor Information of Screen 13.1. What is this and do I really need it?

Its a glitch in the programming, just enter any 10 digit number and move on....I saw someone say they were inserting Intuits phone number in that spot  LOL  I saw someone else say they just entered a blank space and the error disappeared as well

The program requires it and likely will in future years. I do a quick google search for the payer. If I get a hit, I put it in. If not I put in my number, the client number or 800-867-5309 For Jenny https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/867-5309/Jenny

I think we all know that it is very unlikely IRS will call, but they apparently told the software companies to require it.

I was advised by a Lacerte support member to use all 9s in that spot.
