I mistakenly filed a partnership last week without the proper attachment.
What do I do?
I called the IRS PHL and they said just mail the attachment in. To Ogden, etc.
Can one refile the return with the attachment?
What are the solutions?
Thanks.
Ted

I would consider just waiting for IRS to contact the partnership.
What was the attachment for? Sales of stock? ...

I'll second that suggestion. No use mailing anything in until they actually ask for it. Who knows, they might not ask for it anyway.
This week's special - get a free set of ACME snow tires with every return prepared. ($300 extra if you want air in the tires)

And they are still plowing thru the trailers of unopened mail.

Lacerte has an amended procedure that wipes out the first tax return.
It worked.
