Does anyone know how to supercede a corporate return in PTO or Lacerte? I can't find the option within the softwares.

If you've already efiled the return, all you can do to file a superseding return is to paper file it.  I'd suggest doing so certified & return receipt.

Thank you! I figured I could do that since I filed an extension.

Lacerte does not support e-filing superseding returns if the original return was already e-filed from Lacerte. These returns will be recorded as a duplicate return by the Intuit server and rejected with a transmission failure...

I would assume PTO is the same, but not sure....

Is there a way to e-file a return originally paper-filed and mark it as a superseded return?
