It is a way of organizing the Detail Screen. Use Ctrl + N and you see the screen change to numbers 1 to 82 to match the larger numbers on the Organizer sheets. You will lose some of other input screen. Use Ctrl + N again and you will see all of the input sections 1 to 87. It is meant as an aid to do input from organizer sheets more quickly.  Go to that set up. Go into Screen 1, review and enter the press Ctrl + right arrow, that will take you to the next page of the organizer.

If you print the organizer with codes, that can be helpful with Schedules C, E, F and a few other. While in Sch C input use Ctrl + W and you get to batch input. That is where you can then use the codes to do heads down code, entry input very quickly.

Restore some practice clients from C:/lacerte/18tax/demodata and go to town. Be sure the SSN is all 9's for the primary taxpayer and you will be asked to REP the return, but there will be no charge.
